The highlight of this quarter is participation in the design/build competition that all Cal Poly first years look forward to. From brainstorming to fabrication, our team of 12 worked together to make our design a habitable pavilion at the Poly Canyon.
The second project, Sweets, is a haberdashery shop. The site is bounded by the planter box shown in the Hockney joiner photo collage below. After a study of items from the haberdashery world, I picked the button to explore the form further and turn it into a shop design.
